Description

Section 36 of the CDT in Colorado runs a length 28.2 miles from Grand Lake to Bowen Gulch. Note: there is also a possible shortcut to shorten this section. Along the way, the trail passes Green Mountain, Mount Patterson, Taylor Peak, The Sharkstooth, Otis Peak, Hallett Peak, Joe Mills Mountain, Sprague Mountain, Nakai Peak, and US Hwy 34.
